Nebraska

 

 

Another place I can not say I have never been again.  We are in Western Nebraska in a town in Banner County, in fact the only town in Banner County, Harrisburg….very rural, farming community.  They have a small museum, which we walked around yesterday.

 

                                      

After leaving the museum, we drove out in the country to a couple of cemeteries,  looking at old headstones, and seeing if I can find the oldest one is one of the things I really like to do.  I saw one from 1880, a pioneer of the area was one that I saw.  I also saw a couple from soldiers of the civil war. 

 

                                            

 

and one from the Second World War.

 

We also saw a mommy deer and her Fawn.

Today we are relaxing….after all we did have a small disaster on the way up here, the axle on the trailer decided to break!  We were in Wyoming, another state to cross off the list…
