We did get together with a group of friends from Texas to do a couple of area trails, we took them up over County Rd 14 in San Juan County, Colorado. Then over to Gladstone where we know of an area that has a lot of rocks with iron pyrite in them, or is it? Who knows I could have gold!
After we left that area we went over our favorite pass in the area, Corkscrew Gulch, its where we love to camp out.
We were going to camp out there during the annual meteor shower, but there were so many storms in the area, that we watched it from right here.
As you know, if you are reading previous posts, we had a bit of brake trouble, and can hear them scraping when we use the brakes, so we have found someone to replace the back brakes for a price we can afford, so tomorrow that will be done, and we needed 2 steering tires for the RV, and we got those for a great price too. We are prepared to be back on the road!
Living in an RV is a great thing, I do enjoy it. We decided to go up into Nebraska to see my son, and will slowly be heading South after that. We made our reservations for the winter down on the Gulf Coast of Texas, time just seems to be going faster and faster. It wont be long to be honest!
I am doing a shout out to Jerry and Linda....it was so nice to meet you both, and we will keep in touch!
Will update as possible, we will be dry camping for a few days, so that means no internet!
