Rain, rain don’t go away, Colorado needs you to stay!!! With so many wildfires around the state, it has been awesome to have rain where we are staying in Silverton for the past couple of days…as I sit here and write this there is rain hitting the roof of the RV, and I am loving it. The best part is so far I have not heard any thunder and seen no lightening, which is what has started the many fires around the state. I worry every time we leave the campground, there are about 9 fires statewide…that is about 9 too many.
Today we made a run into Montrose for a few things we need, and while we were there stopped by to see an old friend from when we lived there, they say third time is a charm, and that was the third time we stopped by his place of business to surprise him with a visit.
On our way there we did finally meet up with Jimmy Dorsey of Gold Rush Alaska. That man is so not what I expected, its so true not to believe what you see on TV. Production will do whatever they can to spin a story what ever way they want to. I found Jimmy to be very pleasant and knowledgeable of things.
Terry and Jimmy, looking over the map of the mines….
Tonight I took a couple of pictures of the sunset so I thought I would share….I do love a pretty sunset!!
Heres to hoping you are all having a great summer….I know we are!
