WHAT A WEEK!!!

Most people I know, have an idea about what  a Texas Rangers fan I am.  I really love my team, and I get very emphatic about calls blown by umpires, etc.  Today is no different.

What I want to write about today is one of the players on the Texas Rangers team.  Josh Hamilton.

This man is one that I would love to meet, not because of his baseball playing, but because of his life off the field.

You can google Josh and see that he has a MLB leading 18 home runs this year, or that he has joined a very elite group of players that hit 4 homers in one game, or that he has had a very public struggle with drugs and alcohol.   Even his relapses are public knowledge, and after the last one this past winter, it was Josh that insisted on a press conference to publicly apologize to everyone, not just those that are the only ones he needed to apologize to (his wife and kids).  He apologized to his team, the management of the team, his fans and to baseball fans everywhere.

Now to what Josh has done this week:  The man is a beast, 11 home runs in a week….as far as I know, up to yesterday he was using the same bat as he used in the 4 HR game….

WOW! He hit 5 in just 2 games, then it went from there, extending into today.  Josh I wish you all the best in the world, you are truly an inspiration to all!  Can I please meet you?
