We are getting ready to get on the road, part of the getting ready is getting it legal to be on the road, which means state inspection, and license plates. The easy part was the insurance, we found a policy that was pretty cheap for a year of coverage!
Yesterday, I decided to call State inspection stations to see if they could do the RV…….I could not find anyone, even the RV Dealers did not do them. I must have called 50 places, until I was so mad I gave up!
I told Terry I didn’t know it was going to be that hard to find someone to inspect a RV! Today he called several places, and got the same responses, until I said to call Camping World!! They have McClains RV on the same lot and they do them there! Yes, finally! So now we need to go get windshield wipers and one bulb for a clearance light and we can get it inspected, then get the license plates on it! I still think Texas does it a bit backwards, you have to have proof of inspection to get it initial tags in the state!
