Trip to Colorado begins

Day One

We woke up so very very early, before 6  a.m. must have been the excitement of getting on the road.  Of course there were things to be done, like make sure all the things were put away, load the Jeep on the trailer, get gas, pick up Jay, and hit the road, so noon was here before we knew it.     

                              






 The trip has been fun so far, we have had cross winds like crazy, but the last hour of the day we had a nice tail wind.  Leaving Dumas Tx in the rear view mirror tomorrow morning and by evening we should see Mountains in the front!!







Day two:

Woke up in Dumas, Tx.  We are now sitting in Montrose, Co. at Deangelos Pizza.  Enjoying a Deangelos Special, I sure have missed this stuff.  They will update their website soon, they just moved to a new location!!

We took highway 287 out of Dumas into Oklahoma, boy that is one rough road after you get in Oklahoma. 


 One of the shelves in the cabinet fell and broke my favorite Visions Cookware pan….it must be replaced.  You could hear a silent sigh from all of us as soon as we hit the Colorado state line.
