Here being in Garner Texas, staying at Back Acre RV Park. We got here late last night, and hooked up the electric and called it a night, we can hook up the rest tomorrow we said.
Back Acre is a off the beaten path park, the owners Ken and Carolyn Clary are very nice. Ken waited late for us last night and helped us hook up the electric.
There is a fishing lake here, and since its on private property, you don’t have to have a fishing license.
We are going to take some pictures tomorrow, so I will be posting some then, we are going to be here a couple of weeks, so I have time.
We took a quick run into Mineral Wells tonight, ate some dinner at Dairy Queen, then went to walmart for some groceries, and I have to tell you, for a small town I am shocked at how the people are rude! We tried to start a conversation with the young lady at Dairy Queen, and we were pretty much blown off, customer service really has gone to heck!! For all she knew we could be secret millionaires and she just blew a chance at a wad of dough……LOL!
Walmart was no better, people were practically running over each other in the grocery area, not even looking to see if there was someone coming, twice we were almost hit by someone coming out of one of the aisles, and they were barreling their way around. Common courtesy is gone too! The Cashier was out of dress code too, I should have asked her where the heck her name tag was, because when I was a CSM for Walmart, if one of our cashiers didn’t have on a name tag, we had to tell them to go get one, because that is just part of the dress code (Walmarts way not to have to pay for uniforms in states that require the employer to pay for and maintain them is to call it a dress code, lol)
Anyway we are back in the RV for the night, its starting to cool off so we will go out in a bit and take our showers, and wait for a new day!!
