There was a plan, and we are behind…yes, we were supposed to have this done by now, the summer of 2011 was the one, at least that was the goal….but as everyone knows, sometimes you just can’t get things done in the time you want.
We started our savings account and had planned the amount we were going to put in it each month. But things happen, like the $400 electric bill, so the amount we wanted to put in savings never was the amount we put in. So its going to take a bit longer.
Terry was going to PPL MOTOR HOMES (he had been looking at that site in 2004 and 2005 too) and looking at things that were for sale, and of course since we were just in looking mode, nothing there would be there when we were ready, but it’s a great consignment lot with tons of Motor Homes! He also was looking on Craigslist, and getting aggravated because we just weren't saving at the rate we wanted to. I kept saying that when it was the right one, it would happen! And it did! Fast forward to February of this year, when he decided to go to RV Trader, and found
Yes, and at a very reasonable price, but problem, we had not quite saved up enough for it yet, and
we don’t know if the seller will work with us, but I have always said, “When it’s the right one, things will work out for us” and they did!
in fact, we were able to find a way to bring her home a month early….so that we could get her ready to go! Now for the fun part….going through all the “Stuff” and deciding what to keep (not much) what to give the kids, what to throw away and what to sell!
