Because Terry had been laid off and there really were no jobs for his career on the Western Slope of Colorado, he began searching other areas for jobs, and the place that had jobs for him was right back where we started, in Fort Worth, Tx. Not to mention the kids are here well a majority of them. We sold a vehicle to pay for the UHaul, and loaded that baby up. I bet he would tell you that he was tired of shoveling snow every day anyway. We were right back where we started, with another dream in our heads, we were still going to get an RV, we just had to get jobs and start saving…..easier said than done! Terry and I searched and searched, but the jobs he had seen online, well, lets face it, not a lot of employers want to hire someone that is older, of course they don’t tell you that, they just don’t call for interviews…..until we had been here for 6 months, when a small shop in Arlington Tx, gave him a job. Yes, one of us has a job….now its my turn….or is it? We are going to work for 7 years and live off Terry’s income and as soon as I get a job, we will put mine in savings and live the dream, sounds like a plan, right?
